It's Snowing!!!

today it snowed! it hasnt snowed in south carolina in like 7 years. it was so exciting! it snowed less than 1/4 an inch, but they still closed all the schools, so i had a 5 day weekend this weekend

why would they close the schools??

They're weak. I don't care if you don't have any plows or snow tires, anyone can drive in a quarter inch of snow.

That's cool. It snowed like 3 inches up here but we only got a 2 hr delay

I don't have snowtires and I've driven in all sorts of storms. And they don't close schools for less than about 30cm of snow, unless it is still coming down / just ended.

they dont close schools here, even if theres 20 inches of snow

They close them here sometimes for dumb amounts, because its dangerous for some of the buses to go up the hills, and the school district is paranoid. Its so irritating to be on a bus with chains =/ uhhgoooh

We have a reputation for being the only district open in the area a lot of times. I don't like it but honestly we can drive in pretty much anything here, there's a lot of plows and people are used to the snow.

well i think maybe it they closed the schools today b/c of the innaguration and so all we would be doing at school would be watching tv
but maybe they just let us out b/c it never snows

We had a snow day because the tv station messed up the announcement. We were suppose to be 2 hours late of school but one tv station put no school so we didn't have school.

i wish we had snow days

Oh yeah anyways. I forgot about that.

We got about 4-5 inches 2 days ago. I played football on a frozen pond and hurt my knee pretty badly.

here where i live in VA, it hasn't snowed more than 2 inches in almost 2 1/2 years. but before then I remember one year when it was el nino and we didn't have alot of snow plows and it snowed like every wednesday and we ended up only go to school like 150 days when we were supposed to go 180.

It was strange seeing someone we knew on Dr. Phil. It was sad but he left last week to go get help at a clinic for 6 weeks. Hopefully he gets better they said we was like only 138 lbs.

how tall is he? my dad is 138 lbs. and 5'9
