State Rankings - Page 3 Empty Re: State Rankings

    Post by RUNxxWILD07 Thu Jun 26, 2008 9:56 pm

I know this won't be the most accurate, but it should still be a better guide then guessing. I have the time of the 25th runner for division one for the all the 2007 state cross country meets. I figure the 25th runner should be a good guide. Yes other factors such as course, temperate, wind, etc will still be a factor but I still thought this would be cool.

It does show we forgot some states on the guessing list on page 1 or 2. Like Michigan is high up there for boys and girls and we didn't even have them in our top 12 before.

Its hard to rank, thats why I dont like xc as much as track..

I cant judge other people's times because who knows what their course is like. My friend moved back to arizona, (and he runs xc) I asked him what the courses were like down there and he said there realllly flat, and its not the only state like that.

But considering I live on a freakin moutain range..haha (but seriously I do...)

yeah, you still could have other things that alter the outcome but its definitely easier than XC to rank
