either an otter, flying squirrel, a big cat (cheetah/leopard/panther/tiger not sure which i'd want to be) or a falcon.

Something that can fly fast like a falcon hawk type thing. Maybe a antelope because they can run fast and far unlike the cheetah who is just a sprinter.

Because most would assume that the point of choosing to be another animal is to become something that can do things that you can not. I wouldn't choose an animal because it can do the same thing as me.
