    Finally Over Empty Finally Over

Post by Love For Running Sat Nov 15, 2008 5:27 pm

So my season is finally over. I only came 1 minute from my PR at one race, but almost every other race was really not very good. I dont know know why but my body just didnt feel the same for some reason. I took about 2 weeks off here and there during the season due to just feeling extremely overly tired and stuff, but it only helped some. My parents are making me take 4 weeks off. I think I kinda do need it tho, I am glad I get a break mentally and physically....I just really need to be prepared for track season so that I can walk on to the college I want to go to. I hope that I can.

Can you try to lightly jog during the four weeks? Your parents probably have the right idea that you need to rest, but IMO, you should keep up some semblance of fitness.
