Obviously but it's really not all that bad.Adonai wrote:I love it when people say McCain was in favor of tax cuts for the rich
..........McCain is in favor of tax cuts for the rich (not that this is necessarily a bad thing)
Everyone benefits from upperclass money. No one benefits from welfare rats taking everyone's money.

Re: America's Biggest Mistake
1) Obviously. taxing will help out the immediate problems, but there is still more to be done which is why I am angry at both parties for not realizing just how complex the economy actually is, and instead saying that taxing the rich will solve most problems, and the ones that can't be solved by that will be bailed out. I have heard no long term plan from either side as to how to fix the economy four or five years down the road, when given the scope of this, it's obvious that this isn't some quick period of down turn but a major recession.FinishingKick wrote:McCain would still have taxed the rich more, just not as much as Obama. There are better ways to aid the economy in my opinion. I am going to take an educated guess and say a democrat would be more inclined to give out a house loan to someone with poor credit.
2) No Dem who isn't a real estate agent would say that. If you can't afford the home you don't deserve to live in it. I think that is something virtually all dems could agree with.
