Pimpin' my spikes

I'm going to pimp some of my old spikes. Hopefully it'll make them look a little better. These are the ones i'll do:
nike zoom waffle XC (2006 version, red black grey)
nike zoom waffle XC (2007 version, red and black camoflauge)
nike zoom rival MD (last year, mostly red)
nike zoom forever XC (red and black version. might not do these, still going to use them for indoor races)

anyone else here ever done this before, like go oer spikes with sharpies, paint, or something?
i'll take pics if they turn out decently i'll put them on here.

nope never done that im too scared...maybe to some really old spikes i will sometime ha.

No I never have. I only have two pairs of spikes and I use them both. You should dip your spikes in a can of hot pink paint then sprinkle it with sparkly dust. You know to look professional and stuff.

i did it to my jasari's but they came out kinda bad

My friend accidentally pimped his spikes; they were in a bag with a can of bright orange spray pain... the spray paint kind of exploded one day. I have to say though, the spikes looked pretty sweet.

I might spray paint mine.But if it rained would the paint come off?? and would it affect your shoes abilites at all? like make them stiff or something..

no, paint doesn't seem to stiffen them. and i doubt that the paint would come off in rain(as long as it's not washable paint).

aw man that would be hot. i'd run districts in them just to show off.

I pimped out my white converse last year. In art, we had to do an oil painting (that type of paint doesn't wash out), so I ended up doing a Jackson Pollock on my shoes. My mom made me trash them afterwards though

I redrew mine in haha.. I've had them forever (cant throw them away we bonded ) and they faded sooo yup.

I'm going to put up pics, not because they look great, but i need suggestions of what to do next. This is the next shoe i'll do:

RWS's pink paint-and glitter idea would look good on this one. I won't be using theses again, btw. lolrivals.

All i did was make the upper gold, and make the inside swoosh black with a dark red border. Looks decent, any more i can do with this shoe?

I'm liking what I did with the other one better. This is ok though. I'm think maybe just go ahead and make this one all silver, what do you guys think? All i did so far was make everything but the non-strap and plastic material silver, and make the swoosh black.

yeah do it all silver that would be sweet.
