While I don't think anyone on my team would make a big deal out of it, I wouldn't want them to find out and I feel kind of awkward posting stuff about my life and my seasons (which is why i creep instead of post)

Finding out
So I just stumbled on my assistant coach's running blog, which is kind of awkward. I'm not going to mention it to him, but it made me wonder if any of you ever worry about teammates or coaches finding out about your posts on runnerstrail, or if you even care.

Re: Finding out
Yeah I always think it would be weird if anyone on my team found out about my posts here, especially because I do talk about my team a fair amount. I just try not to worry about it because I know for a fact that only like two people on my team care enough about running to possibly go on internet running forums and they probably wouldn't care.

Re: Finding out
Yeah. There are at least six people on my team who could potentially come on here, and I could definitely see my coaches coming on here too (slash they probably do). And I feel like if they saw my posts, they could easily figure out who I was, and then they would end up telling the entire team and I'd be so embarassed, even if my posts didnt say anything bad.

Re: Finding out
yeah, that is really weird. it makes me think that there probablly are, but they would probablly not just creep around, but would make an account.

Re: Finding out
One teamate told me he looks at letsrun and dyestat to read the posts but he doesn't have a account. Then another one is into running enough that he knows all my prs and I bet reads RW, Stat, and letsrun.
Then there was a runner that posted on RW that is in his 1st year of college that lived about 25 minutes from me (before he went to college) and I've talk to him before and after we found out that we both had accounts on RW.

Re: Finding out
I know for a fact that (at least) one of my friends spies on me here. RWS, can you see which other users have NZ IPs? I know that's not protecting privacy or whatever, but please, we're mates!

To be honest I have no idea. I thought it just displayed the country or something. I won't make ya go through every IP haha, so no worries.

Re: Finding out
I don't really care if anyone finds out. I really doubt anyone goes on this forum though. they go to runindiana most of the time. it'd be funny if my coach found out & I don't think too many boys or girls would. & if they did then they're already serious about running, so they wouldn't make fun of me or anything. around family I talk about going on a running forum & if the time ever came up then I'd say it around my teammates.
