    Awwww....I'm sorry runner_dude. You'll find someone better.

I'm skipping my meet today. It's gonna be hot and I have a ton of homework and I'm way too tired. Plus I'm about to have a mental breakdown. I'm gonna try to do a brick workout later, though. I'm getting kind of pissed that cross country is interfering with triathlon stuff. angry scream

    RD, that sucks. I'm sorry.

We did 6x500 today (which began with an epic fall...the girl behind me clipped my foot with her knee and I have road rash all over my back and right knee). It was a frustrating workout--it just felt so slow.

After sleeping for an hour, I did a moderately beastly brick workout.

I started with a mile warmup on the treadmill
    25 minute bike fartlek
    10 minutes run fartlek
    25 minute bike fartlek
    10 minute run fartlek/cool down
    10 minute bike cooldown

    Total: 90 minutes
It felt pretty good and totally killed my legs agree

I have triathlon swim lesson/meeting with my coach tomorrow at 6:30 AM swim WOOT WOOT

That's one of the main workouts the 3000 runners at my school run in track. Except with like 3 mile warm up and cool downs.

    sorry about the girl

and the whole -trying not to cry thing- totally feeling it.
it was our conference meet and i came in 3rd for our team and got 10th place and ran a good time but within the last 400m i got passed by 3 people...
and when we added up our team scores we got 2nd place instead of 1st by 2 points so that means if i wasn't being a fuckin pussy and didnt get passed we would have won conference and i feel like i blew it for my whole varsity team and i think my coach is mad at me and i can totally tell that when he said "oh don't even think i'm mad at you. everyone ran an excellent race..." i totally know he was just telling me that to not make me feel bad on the last meet of the year.

god, i'm such a frinkin wimp

If you can't kick towards the end then yo started out a little too fast. Maybe next time try holding a little bit in and then pick some people off. It feels a lot better and actually helps you.
