I applied for this hiking trip up mt.baker (in wa, its not huge but its still up there) I really hope I get picked. They only pick 9 girls sooo I dunno. It looks like a ton of fun and its so pretty and cool.

Gahhhh I'll be sad if I don't get picked Sad

My family never goes anywhere for spring break so I've just been watching the state basketball games on tv.

And I just watched the NDSU and Kansas basketball game. NDSU lost Sad oh well it was pretty cool that they made it into March Madness.

    Where to?

I'm hoping Louisville or Pitt lose today though it doesn't seem likely.

So today we went to an invitational at the school with the sick coach that I mentioned once on traxck. [the one with pancreatic cancer] There was a 30 minute ceremony before the races in dedication to him. They renamed the course & invite in his name. They had all of his athletes release purple balloons in the air too. They talked about all of his coaching accomplishments and such and everyone was crying. It was hard too because he was just sitting right there with us, but he's starting to go faster and faster it seems. Crying or Very sad Everyone at the meet wore purple. [Pancreatic Cancer ribbon color is purple] Our team wore purple make-up, ribbons in our hair, knee high socks with paint purple paint splatter, and the girls are painted their nails purple. It was really sad, but it was really neat to see their whole community come out there for the invite.
