2 of our basketball stars shave their heads before every home game.

But the basketball players aren't as strange as the wrestlers here.

no snow. Lots of sun Smile and no rain even! Like it sprinkled a little yesterday but thats about it. It feels weird to have blue skies.

I hate snow and track. They should not go together, its wrong.

First day of Uni down! Well, second really, but Monday was more of an orientation day than actual lectures. Man, it's so different from school. I had a three hour break in between two lectures, so half the time you are just chilling instead of learning haha. Although the learning is incredibly intense, but it's actually pretty cool. Feels kinda like you're learning beyond basic stuff. And campus is the ultimate, it has it's own shopping center, banks, medical center, everything. It's just like a little city haha. The only negative is whenever you're outside, you always walk past people casually smoking. We have a public smoking ban, so I have no idea why it's allowed on a government funded university campus. But it's all great fun so far. The people are awesome, I've met a guy today who I'm pretty much mates with already, hes a kasian (kiwi asian haha, he was born in Hong Kong but moved here as a baby), and you get to talk to pretty much everyone around you. My bioscience paper (conservation) is mostly hippies, the teacher just can't stop talking about how great forests are, the all the students seem to love nature just as much as she does. Feel a bit out of place, but everyone is real friendly there. So all good.

    Story time.

So last night, my friend and I were taking bets on how long various people's relationships would last.
Naturally, we took a bet on my exboyfriend and his new gf.
I had my facebook status as "Jess needs you two to break up in the next two weeks so she will win the bet!"
For the first time in about a month, my exboyfriend messages me on facebook
He says, "OOOO! You guys are betting on people's relationships!?! I WANT IN!"

...IRONY. I just about died laughing.
