I know. I had to wake up at 11:43 AM after getting a call that my partner had flaked out on her part of the spanish midterm project. It's worth approximantley 15% of our final semester grade, so I was up all last night doing her stupid homework. She just said that she would be sick tomorrow and didn't even start her part of the project despite having all winter break and up to now to do it. My other spanish partner had an essay to write last night, and an AP Euro project so I footed the responsibility of preparing latin american cuisine, and doing 60 problems per chapter (we've gone through 8 chapters).
Sorry about that. I'm just majorly pissed at my partner who I didn't choose. explosive

We started school an hour late today because of the weather again. So we'll probably have a ton of days to make up later Crying or Very sad

We didn't have school on Friday, started an hour late on Monday, and an hour late today.

Oh and the Wal-mart nearby had to shut down for a few days because their was so much snow on the roof that it was considered a hazzard.

    What is teenage love?

It's staying up late for each other & barely staying awake in class
the next day. It's passing each other between classes & stopping
to say Hi, but ending up running to your next class right before
the bell rings. It's going to the mall, wandering around hand in
hand with a silence that’s comfortable. It's watching a movie in
the theatres with his arm slowly creeping onto your shoulders &
you resting your head in his arms. It's walking around at night,
for no reason at all; his chest, her head, looking at the stars. It's
uncertainty of how long it will last, a risk you're both willing to
take, even if it means you'll have a broken heart. It's not yet true
love, not like, nor lust, nor infatuation. It's teenage love, here to
stay, here to play with our hearts & never go away.

on another (completely unrelated) note, i have a belated new years resolution- i will stop thinking about times and how i do, and concentrate on having fun and being a good teammate

    yay you made the thread!

i have to decide soon if i'm going to the inauguration or not. on one hand it'd be really cool to say i went to it in 20 years because its such a historical moment, but on the other hand it's going to be really crowded and cold and i won't be able to see anything. plus my parents think i'm going to die from a terrorist attack/riot if i go.

    Yes I did Very Happy

and it's a good experience. You'll probably regret it if you have the opportunity to go and you don't go, or maybe that's just me. Two of my friends are going and I'm actually slightly jealous.

Go. I had a chance to go but couldn't come up with the money in time to go with a certain group. I want to go so freakin badly. I guess I'll have to settle for watching it on TV then.

Go!!! Is there a party with one of the political clubs on campus? For example our Young Democrats of America club is having an inauguration party and anyone is invited.

their parents were really involved in the campaign/are getting jobs under him, so they tagged along and got to meet him. sorry if i was kind of misleading (slash made it sound far more impressive then it is)-by talk i mean they met him and said a few sentences to him. which is still pretty cool.

Yus, I just bought my ticket to see Propagandhi live. They're a Canadian band, who kick ass despite being dirty commies. We're gonna feel pretty out of place, most of the people who like them are all socialists and environmentalists. But I'm sure it will be kick ass anyway. And then the month after I'm seeing Iron Maiden live.

    http://americasarmy.ca/

(This is a random webpage they set up for one of their songs. Listen!)
