pavement (we have a paved trail that goes on for like 40 miles) , our track is one of those ancient dirt/cinder one that floods in the winter so there is a ton of algae on the inside..lol its wonderful.

How disappointed were you when Pre came in forth?

i just feel depressed the rest of the day. no matter how often i watch it.
just the way he dies out rips me in two, cause i know how much he wanted that.
but he will be remember more than lasse viren. i dont see shirts with his name on it.

Same. I was crushed and it was just so intense when he died because he was talking about the race and he was so into it and you really belived like okay, he's going to do this. and then it was just like bam. rock.

i just sit and stare in shock EVERY time it happens. like how could that happen to someone who pushed his whole life and knew pain prob better than anyone and here he is being crushed by a car
