    It just occurred to me that during xc season, I am not going to be running in 70 degree weather in the morning and at night; I'm going to be running at 3 in the afternoon when it's almost 90 outside. I decided I should probably start getting used to that:
    1.7 mile hilly loop x 2
    so 3.4 miles in 88 degree heat. Fun, fun, fun!! Rolling Eyes
    but come xc season it will make things a little easier, I hope.

    might do 6 or 7 on the treadmill later

    Just came back running 10 miles for my AM run

    1.5 miles of it was from my apartment to school were I met up with a sophmore and freshman, since the freshman barely joined last week I thought it would be good for his long run to be 6 miles this week which is the farthest he's ever gone, LOL he was dying soo bad but he finished it, pretty porud of the guy, after that I ran back home 2.5 miles on a different route back

    so 1.5 + 6 + 2.5 = 10 miles

    For my PM run prob ganna do 7 miles (might be cut short to 5 miles if I feel not up to the 7 miles)

    4x1200 today.

    1.5 mile warmup
    strides

    1st- 5:10, just feelin it out, chillin
    2nd- 4:48, a bit more seriouus, still felt good
    3rd- 4:47, almost done, not really tired
    4th- 4:33, last one.


    the times look stupidly inconsistent but it was only supposed to be 85%, and they all felt easy enough.

    What pace were the 800s run at? I can't see any pace being realisic..if there easy pace why not just run them straight as non-intervals (or less if not everyone can run that far), and if thats at tempo or faster there is no way you could keep it at that tempo pace after 8-10 of them.

    Either your coach just fucked you over big time, or they were at an aerobic pace. Probably the second one. And if they were at an aerobic pace, you pretty much did an eight mile run with a break every half mile.

    Elevation:

    Start, 700 feet
    Middle, 1600 feet
    End, 700 feet.
    At the very top there was a clearing and I could see Lake Erie 4 miles away, and a church down the road from my house 5 miles away.

    Sucked majorly. I think I was dehydrated.
