Nobody said that they weren't helpful. They just said that they aren't as beneficial as doing an actual run or cooldown barefoot.

minimalism isn't beneficial. i do not know any coaches that think prolonged runs barefoot are helpful

we just started to barefoot strides and we do 6-10x100m and they are always on grass.
wouldn't it be hard on your feet and dangerous with rocks and glass on the road?
