Here goes:
the 800 was the most intense race ever it was completely insane an oregon sweep. Everyone was expecting Nick Symmonds to go right after it and he laid back until about 250 to go and then swung wide and got up front then on the last stretch then Andrew Wheating who i hoped would make it just completely kicked and got second it was incredible..but the third who no one really expected Christain Smith who didn't even have the Olympic A standard completely dived with Khadevis Robinson across the finish line like they literally dove lol. Christain got it..leaving Robinson not to make the team which was a complete surprise.
So the 800 was an Oregon sweep like it was insane the crowd was going crazyyyyy. you guys have to watch this video sometime because it was seriously amazing.
so then the 5k:
It started out with Brent Vaughn completely taking charge about 50meters ahead of everyone which was really a surprise and then the pack started catching up to him the pace was extremely slow starting out. Everyone knew that Adam Goucher had to make the standard and the team during the race and with a mile to go he was really off pace he would've had to run a sub-4 mile which he obviously couldn't do..so Salazar pulled him out. Bernard Lagat was just hanging back which everyone kinda expected Tegenkamp was right behind him they were like 6th and seventh the whole race. Then on the last lap they made their move and went 1, 2 pretty dominantly... Ian Dobson got the third spot. I just really really hope someone beats lagat in the 1500 but i doubt that will happen.
