    I know a young kid who can run 1:50's. I'm hoping in the next few years, he'll have a shot. =]]

    I think he's 16 or 17. Not sure. It's probably a long way off, but he's so dedicated, and he deserves a shot so much.

    And I feel bad for Adam Goucher, I hope he does well in the 10,000 meter. I think that would be a little depressing if I were him and his wife is doing really well in the trials. And I want them both to get to go to Beijing, not just Kara.

    i know i love the gouchers.
    anyone have any thoughts about brent vaughn i think give him another four years and he'll be on the team for sure. i can't wait until these younger runners start getting up there its just getting better and better.

    and andrew wheating i think hes wow going to be owning here pretty soon like two years ago he was focusing on soccer too going to the world cup and then just decided to give running a shot and got to the olympics lol. hes got a butt load of talent.

    KARA GOUCHERRRR! my hero lol. third the whole race kicked with about 150 to go and beat Shalane to become first in the 5k.

    OMG! I know, i love her. That was an awesome race.
    and i felt so bad for her and adam when adam didn't qualify, she was crying for him and when they were hugging i was like aweeeeeeee.

    totally agree.
    i would be sad if my husband didn'y get to run in beijing with me,
    so i understand she was sad. that would have been really cool.
