Nike Zoom Matumbo

I want more info on this shoe! It's like the distance version of the victory. Anyone have any stats on it (weight)? I'm also having trouble finding pictures.

all i could find is that bernard lagat and kara goucher are wearing them and their nikes lightest distance spike..can't find any pics either they sound sweet though.

i think they are..but im not positive. cuz i can't find any pics but karas supposed to be wearing the matumbos and she is wearing those yellow ones.

You mean those crazy neon things? That would be pretty crazy-awesome. Too bad they'll probably be f'in expensive.

Edit: They're up for pre-order on firsttothefinish.com. I don't think my parents would be willing to shell out $110 on a pair of spikes right now. I guess I'll be waitin' until Christmas.

Does Nike have a Matumbo equivalent for XC? Because I think that'd be a good thing to get if I ever go to NTNs.

im not sure. their not even out yet for normal people so idk.

You could use the matumbo for XC on grass courses, but any kind of rugged terrain would probably tear them up. I'm never going to run anything in track longer than 3200, so I think I'll just go with the victories.

Edit: Their are some new waffle racers out, too. They don't look half bad.
