    If you get enough sleep regularly, then one night of too little sleep isn't going to hurt race performance.

    I haven't been able to fall asleep in 3 days. I've been sleeping from like 3-8 or 4-9. I tried falling asleep earlier but my mind keeps going, lol. It stinks, but I tried resting/closing my eyes in car rides. I actually feel fine though. So, don't worry. Even if you get like 3 hours of sleep, you'll pull through.

    Hmm.. I do practice at night because it's cooler. It's kind of funny you say that because when I say my mind keeps going, it's usually me running what I did at practice a few hours before.

    The night before the race doesn't have too much effect on race performance. 2 nights before is more important, and if you slept in to 12, I think you're good.
