Jim Ryun Running Camp

Anyone gonna be there? I will be. Ryan Hall attended the camp when he was in HS.
And it is a possibility that The Jack Daniels will be showing up to help instruct us.

C'mon guys that's like the definition of a leisurely runner. He talks about a camp with Ryun and Daniels at it and all you can say is that would be a cool camp.

And Daniels will only be at the camp in Colorado, sorry tracko.

1)Sorry for the misinterpretation, but jim ryun, as far as my knowledge goes, will not be attending the camps. THe camps are named after him, and I am sure he has visited the camps in the past, but there is no indication that he will be there this year.

2)You are correct FK, the site does say daniels will only be at colorado only, and when I read that I was just as bummed. But then when the camp registration forms showed up in my mailbox they had an updated news alert in one of the papers saying that their is a possibility daniels may also make an appearance at gettysburg, I can imagine it would only be for one day and for one seminar if he did, as he cant be in two places at once obviously. I will update you guys on whether he shows up or not.

3) Thanks PCNQtrack, you don't even know the half of it though. I got in some real hot water with my parents recently, and they were considering on not allowing me to go. But I was able to get out of the doghouse and make a complete turnaround and they mercifully reinstated my permission to attend, as well as pay for the huge registration fee I am very lucky indeed.

RWS, dont worry man. When I get back I'll be able to tell you anything you want to know about the camp, so that way youll have a ton more insider information, and then maybe you can convince your parents its worthwhile

If it sounds good I'll think about attending for junior or senior year. Kind of far for a camp but I hope I can go if it is indeed a great opportunity.

yea man I wont get back till next friday or so, I have no idea if they will have internet their if they did I doubt id waste precious time online (no offense) if their was.

Wow do i feel like an idiot.
I just spent more time on the site, and it turns out Jim Ryun IS actually going to be at one of the camps, hopefully it will be the one I am at.
