Mmm, sort of.. They both had their ups and downs though.

Any new year's resolutions for you in 2009?

Make the lacrosse team
Beat my time in the marathon
Ace my classes
Get first place in Academic Decathlon for at least 3 events
Get into 3 APs for my sophomore year
Make xc next school year

-Stay healthy for this school year.. I was so sick last year I honestly dont remember anything I learned =/
-Beat my time for track (last years shouldn't be hard considering I never pr'd)/ go to state for xc/ do actual base training/fix my legs.
-Find a boyfriend
-Get a 4.0
-Start a club or something at my school, like an eco-club.

*+1 on the stay healthy thing...that includes trying not to get injured. it seems i always get shin splints in track though.

*this summer beat my 5k time at local race
*get straight A's for the rest of 8th grade...and try verry hard to get 4.0 freshmen year
*make varsity for xc as a freshmen......
*help out with the 2009 Marathon that is going to be in my city in april..or may (i'm really excited to volunteer:)

-Would like to see a nice drop in my mile time from last year (which I can't even remember, but I know it was baaaad because I ran it like once and sucked)
-I want to take both AP Bio and AP Chem next year..it's not really a resolution, but more of an 'I hope I can thing' because my school only runs 1 class in AP Bio/Chem each and the past two years they ended up running at the same time.
-Get a job over the summer
-Run/work my hardest this summer
-And I'm taking a class at my local community college this summer

we have alot of the same things, I want to take a class at a com. college this summer, take ap bio and physics next year and get a job.

How do you react to bad news?

depends how bad i guess....I usually freak out first, then try to figure out a way to make it better (if it can be fixed). I pray about it too.

I usually freak out a little. I usually don't cry on the spot about things...it takes time to let things settle, then I cry.
A lot of the time, depending on the news, if it deals with me directly, I'll try to act liek it doesn't bother me & goof-off a ton more. My friends have picked up on that & now they never let things go.


Ever lost someone really close to you?

yes i have unfortunately. My uncle, who was also my godfather. i was pretty upset about it too.
what about you?

im glad to say that i havent. well my aunt died this week, but i wasnt really close to her..i feel really bad for my cousins though, cause im pretty tight with them.

waht was the most expensive christmas gift you bought for someone this year?

I bought a $40 jacket for my boyfriend. I'm going to go return it though since we broke-up. The next would be a $20 digital picture frame keychain. My mom said she wanted one so she's getting one. It's suppose to be like the regualr digital frames, just smaller.
I don't really spend much on gifts.

I didn't really have the money to buy gifts this year, but I made my academic decathlon coach a chocolate cherry cake. I also made her a card on photoshop and some latkes (potato pancakes).

Districts, I did well for myself and got close to state. More then I was hoping for.

Anyone want to move out of their state when they're older?
I've always wanted to go to L.A. or San Diego or somewhere in southern California...I actually have pride to be from Illinois (despite our interesting political figures), but hate the cold, lol.

I think it would be cool to move to the East Coast...or North to Washington...I dont really know though..
