Because everyone hates Bush and it's perfectly okay to make fun of him. However as soon as someone mentions Obama everyone feels that they are wrong and he ought to be respected. Can you not see the hypocrisy?

i have always said that bush did a good job in handling 9/11 and the war in iraq? I was only saying that because whoever posted the picture of bush and said it was americas worst decision or whatever.

incase that was directed to me.

Yes he did, that's all I was saying before, that Obama better be good with national security because Bush helped us out a lot in that respect. Then people said I was whining and that I should respect Obama more. Razz

    Neutral

What she said was totally taken out of context (well like its not what she meant but of course people freakkkeedd) and I thought we were over this? Guess not Rolling Eyes . Michelle I think will make a great first lady, so would McCains wife dont get me wrong I think she's neat..but calling her a bitch? Well thats not only uncalled for it would also be inaccurate.

Obama for the last freaking time isnt going to screw us up, he will have advisors surrounding him [hopefully really good ones, and I say that just because every prez needs good advisors] fyi, and he's not going to do nothing. I think he'll probably be one of the most proactive presidents we've have because he'll be under the spotlight more (more so then pass presidents due to the whole situation).

I say everyone takes a chill pill and just waiitsss until he is actually in office. Give it a year and if he does indeed to a poor job then you can bitch about it all you want.

hmm that surprises me, and it makes me sad. Gay rights isn't my biggest concern but it pisses me off how people are still against it these days.

Its like, One step foward and one step backwards.
(wouldn't it be nuts if we could have both black prez and gay rights??)

No, America's biggest mistake is the media, which you are clearly a product of.

What do you mean by that?
I get what everyone is saying about the fact that Bush didn't CHOOSE to have 9/11 happen and he started with a rough term and he didn't really CHOOSE to go to war, it just happend, but that doesn't really explain why are economy is so cruddy. I don't know how it personnally looks for jobs where everyone else lives, but all I know is that Michigan is one of the states in the worse shape...maybe thta's ot really something to blame on Bush but it's nice to think that someone did it and it just didn't magically happen.
As for Obama getting into office over McCain, I'm just a democrat. My mom was talking about how she would have voted for McCain but she just doesn't like Republicans so she couldn't do it. Plus, whoever was to become president would be taking over a position that was going to be tough to handle and she wasn't quite sure that McCain would be able to handle 4-Rough years...(Plus we don't like Palin.)
