I've only just sat my exams, and the results don't get back to us (or the Unis) until late January. So I just have to wait for 2 months until I get the heads up or down. And I still haven't actually decided, so I've applied for both physics and mechanical engineering, as I still have tons of time to decide. So it's just playing the waiting game now, waiting for that letter to come in the post... fingers crossed!

And to fill the time in between now and then, I've applied at burger king haha. Going to try to work 20 hour weeks, get some decent cash earned.

    ALL BLACKS 32 - ENGLAND 6

Was a bit of a weird game overall, not enough runs and too many penalties. They were all correct, I think the ref did a good job. Haha can't believe how many yellow cards England got either. But yeah, ABs were playing really defensively, which made the game pretty dull to watch. The second half was awesome though! So, New Zealand return home without a single loss, after beating Australia, Scoutland, Ireland, Wales and England. Not to mention defeating Australia and South Africa earlier this year in th tri nations. Great stuff boys Very Happy

Ahh and tomorrow is the final day for exams for the whole school, and textbook return day. So it will oficially be over! There's a huge end of year party that night as well, so looking forward to that Twisted Evil

I'm not going to deny it you guys are easily the best team in the world, however that's almost the problem when it come to the world cup, you guys know that and there is too much pressure on you.
But yeah seeing dan miss those kicks was a surprise.
But we lacked discipline and gave away way too many penalties
but the ref was way to soft on your captain

The essay topic I have to write about for English:

The Scarlet Letter- Trace the evolution of the scarlet letter "A", i.e. the designations of "adultery," "able" and "angel"; insofar as our concerns as readers rest foremost with the protagonist, be certain that each tenor makes reference to the possessor of the letter "A" only, namely Hester Prynne; this means that, at the very least, that of "angel," since it was originally intended not for Hester but for the recently deceased John Winthrop, will require some unraveling of Hawthorne's symbolic network; nevertheless, as we demonstrated in class, just such symbolic connections, among many others, do, indeed, exist; I would recommend that you pay particular attention to the statue imagery as well as the mention of "the coming revelation" found at the very close of the romance.

    WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!?!?! Sad

Do you always have to complain about the Scarlet Letter? Razz

I think it's saying trace the evolution of the Scarlet Letter through symbolism and statue imagery, though I'm not sure because I've never read the book.
