Where do you work?
As the title says, where do you work? Do you like it? What's the wage?

Nice. I had to quit my job because it was getting in the way of running. I use to work at a Honda dealership as a porter. Pay was decent.

Re: Where do you work?
A pool, I love it, $8.50 an hour, next year I will get $12.50 because I will be a WSI instead of a lifeguard.
and every other friday we have a feast and everyone brings food. It's awesome. and there are always lots of lollipops at the pool so I'll eat about five million, but then I usually swim around a lot during breaks so it doesn't really matter!!

Re: Where do you work?
^ lucky. baby got track...
no job here =/
but I'm looking into working either at safeway,or mcdonalds. blah. Safeway (its like 9.05 an hour??) is really flexible with hours and days so its the only place that would let me do sports and work. My mom wants me to work at the state fair that's coming up soon..but its only temporary.
Question: whats the age for your state that lets you start working?? Is it 16 or lower?

Re: Where do you work?
It depends on the job here, I think.Pinthin wrote:

Most restraunts will make you be 16, some 18, and a lot will pay you under the table and you can start at 14.
But like for lifeguarding, as soon as you pass the class, you can work, but you can't take the class until your 15. I think a lot of jobs here are like that

i recently started babysitting but that doesn't really count as a job. and the working age is 16 where i live but you can work for the schools at recreation or lifeguarding and what not when you 15.

Re: Where do you work?
I work at a pizza place. it's ok... I don't really like my boss... he's really OCD. But the hours are flexible so it works out well w/ running.
working age in NH is 16, but you can work when you're 15 if you get the right papers signed. I think you can also work when you're younger than that... again, with the right papers signed (but you probably would have trouble finding a job).... but I started when I was 15

i dont work...its pretty much impossible to get a job here unless your 18 or older. and even then most places wont hire you unless your bilingual.
