Definitely the second, the first looks a bit too heavy and supportive if you're only going to be racing and occasionally doing workouts in them.

I went with the brooks. My dad ordered them today and I can't use them for my first meet on saturday because the course has pavement. I can't wait for them to get here.

Yeah but it's not a big meet at all there will be probably 3 teams there and it's not even our regular varsity distance. I only have to run a 3k.

I really like them, the only problem is my left foot is slightly bigger so the right shoe doesn't fit as well as I would like it..but oh well.
