How long does it take...

...for black toenails to fall off?
I've had one that's been black for five months (since April) and I just want to know if I can expect it to fall off anytime soon haha. I feel like it should have been long gone by now... do they usually take this long?

i've never gotten black toe nails. how do you get them?

I got a black finger (slammed my finger in a car door while on sleeping meds)
It kept getting bigger and then it started to come off.
It took about 6 months in total for it to fall off and grow back again.

Might be the way you run. If your shoes are too small or you land awkwardly that can sometimes happen.

I don't know how long it takes. I think I've only had a couple, and mostly they've fallen off by 3 or 4 months.

its awkward landinggs but im working onn it

put foot stuff on them.

2 months tops for me. Fingernails take like 2 though, and toes maybe a month and a half. I think I've lost like 4 black toenails, and they are usually off in like a month or so.

mine was on a pinky toe so about a week

nevre had them...hope i never do

im not sure exactly how long it took for mine to come off. i just wanted it off so i kinda helped and loosened so it would come off faster. i only lost half my nail tho.

Never had them.

It can range from a week to a year depending on the severity.

it's ugly but it won't hurt you don't worry about it.
