    Are we talking Steve Magness, if so, yes, he is one of the most successful students of running perhaps ever. Some people, as illuminating as their talent is, just follow what their coaches describe to them to make themselves faster, sometimes inefficiently. Steve was perhaps the most successful high school runner ever at applying effective running philosophy to his training.
