Nike Oregon Project? Empty Nike Oregon Project?

Post by futureNIKErunner Sun Jul 20, 2008 12:57 pm

Who thinks the combination of running and technology is fair, being able to track every single
thing your body does or can take.
    or who is for it?
personally i kind of like the idea, but it kind of goes away from the traditional running.
    so idk

i just want some other opinions

I will be trying Hyberbaric Oxygen Threapy a few days before a big race I have. It is same thing pretty much as hig altitude living-it multiplies red blood cells not by putting little oxygen but more oxygen, 97% to be exact. It was what Terrel Owens used to heal his broken ankle before the Super Bowl.

Well my "friend" across the street told me that my muscles would be EXTREMELY fresh is I did this so he is like hooking me up, telling me when to do it because I'm doing a race where you do 3 races in 24 hours. But this morning I went to a cardiologist to ask about my heart issue (he said it was fine, I continue my running life) and I asked him about the Hyperbaric therapy. He said it only heals injuries and the like and won't help me with running.

Rupp ran 13:37 in High School.

Don't plan on doing that, even Rupp had to cheat to make it happen.

I hope you realize that Rupp was incredibly talented and ran a sub 13:40 5k in high school which is better than German's run this year (as incredible as that also is, though I think German might have broken that record if he ran it in the settings Rupp did).

Besides that, Salazar is not really going to take on any more athletes besides Lambie/Chapa and those aren't really part of his "group" (which includes guys like Rupp, JR, etc).
