When do you run?

Just curious. This seems to differ widely between runners. Once, I blearily made my way out of the house with my dog (who was sick) at 2 or 3 in the morning, only to find half the boys' team out getting their workout done

So what about you? Do you get up insanely early to run? Stay out late? Somewhere in the middle?

I usually run at 5 or 6 (p.m.), but it seems a fairly unpopular time.

I usually get up around 8ish in the summer, my friend picks me up around 10ish , we go to the gym then we go for a run around 11ish.

We use to do the same thing only our run was around 2ish which is the hottest part of the day, that didnt seem to bother him though

When I run with others I run around 6 pm, and by myself I usually go around 8 pm. If I have to run in the morning I eat at 6 and run at 7.

ugh my coaches idea of a morning run in the summer is at 6 =/

I'm usually out after 8pm, although now that I'm working and being busy all day, I'm going to have to get out at 9ish am.

I usually run at the gym around 1-4 before my workout or on the trails between 6-9.

Every time I decide I'm going to make a thread while I'm running I get back to find that the same thread has just been made.

But anyway, I usually run whenever I feel like it.
Sometimes 9 in the morning.
Sometimes 9 at night.
I should probably start being more consistent though.

In the summer, I either run in the morning, at 8 or so or in the evening

It usually depends. I do all hard workouts and long runs in the morning (around 8:00), and then the next day I'll do a recovery at around 8:00 PM so I can get an extra 12 hours of recovery.

6-8 AM and 5-8 PM.

usually around 6 or 7 pm. but XC practice is at 8:30 am in the summer. And I like to do workouts in the morning... like around 8:00 am. Actually, I'd rather do all my runs in the morning, but I have trouble getting out of bed.

Like 9 PM for me

I get up at 6:45..practice starts at 8. we haven't started 2 a days yet.

Mostly in the afternoon. Like in between 3 & 5 because that's when I find I run the best. I'm not tired and groggy like I am in the morning, although I love the feeling of morning running, so I do do it occasionally.

I like running in the morning best, like between 8-9.….sometimes later….also in the evenings around 6-7

Our team meets at 8:30am to run.

But on the 1 day that I run without the group I normally run at like 7 or 8 pm.

I love running in the morning. I feel so accomplished and ready for the day and I also feel like I don't have to work the rest of my day plans around my run.

i feel the best when i run in the evening but the way my schedule works out im forced to run in the morning. thank goodness i dont have to run at like 8 though. i need at least 2 hours to get out of my zombie-sleepy state and theres no way im getting up at 6.

that being said, recently its been around 11 am

on dyestat, everyones obsessed with midnight runs. i would SO love to try running at obscene hours of the night!

Do some of you run @ night when it's completely dark, or just on the treadmill?

In theory, I love running early in the morning, because its so empty and peaceful and cool. But running seems so much harder early in the morning and I work most evenings, so I ususally run around noon. Probably not the best choice.
I really want to try running late at night too, but I get paranoid that I'll be attacked or raped or something.
