Agreed, Rodgers in his prime and should be a lot better than an aging Favre. Even if he's not they need to give him experience sometime because he is their future. However, if Favre wants to play, there's really nothing Green Bay can do about it.

They can't do that. Favre is bigger than the Packers do you know what the fans would do? And if Favre goes somewhere else it will likely be somewhere else in the division, and I don't think the Packers management wants to see him in Lambeau in another uniform.

lol i can't even picture him i a different uniform. and what makes you think they'd trade him to someone in the division? he'd probably be traded to an AFC team.

I love Favre, I've grown up watching him. I can't say I don't want to see him play again, but I do agree that he retired and had multiple chances to come back and now he wants to come back. I understand how hard it is for him. He has been playing football every sunday august to january since he was 5. It's impossible to give it up, but he needs to understand it isn't fair to the Packers, Rodgers, or the fans. Love ya Favre, but just let it go.

Aaron Rodgers is not better than Brett Favre. He won't be for another 2-3 seasons until Favre starts seriously losing his physical skills. That said, AiRodge is (IMO) better than a lot of NFL QBs, he had time to develop in the system, he is a decent QB anyway, and he just needs some snaps. He has a bit of the McNabb syndrome though, since he gets injured even when sitting on the bench.

What Green Bay should do is talk to Favre, say we want you back, we would love to have you play for us, and then send Rodgers back to the bench. Favre will play 1-2 more seasons, then hang it up, and Rodgers can step in, a 6 year veteran, and pick up where Favre left off.

Or something, I hate the NFC NLOLRTH
