Honey Stinger
As you can tell from my name and previous avatar that I am sponsored by Honey Stinger. So a question to you all, have any of you tried any of their products? I would suggest trying their Peanut Butta Protein bar that is great tasting and comes jam-packed with 20grams of protein. Another favorite of mine are their fruit chews. They taste AMAZING and preform the same function as Sportbeans, only better.

Ok, I've never even heard of Honey Stinger, but anyone who sponsors someone as slow as you (no offense) must be a really desperate company.

I just turned 13, how fast were you when you were an early 13 year old?

Well then don't critisize my slowness since I'm young and decent for my age.

I wasn't specifically talking to you, I just said I didn't see why a company would sponsor someone with a 22 minute 5k! Don't you know what "no offense" means? The Bee's Knees wrote:FK wrote:Idk, I wasn't running then. Here are the reasons:
1. It's a grassroots program so it's not full blown
2. I am a common face in training runs and races so wearing Honey Stinger colors will serve an advertising purpose.
3. They mostly serve biking and triathletes so I am extending their range of buyers.
Good enough?

Re: Honey Stinger
How on earth does a 13-year-old have a sponsorship? That seems almost unhealthy. And doesn't that make you ineligible for XC and track?

Like I said it's grassroots which means it's not full blown and since I do such a large variety of races from small to large it will get the name around.

Based on the number of races he has during the XC season, that would be my guess.funrunner wrote:How on earth does a 13-year-old have a sponsorship? That seems almost unhealthy. And doesn't that make you ineligible for XC and track?

My middle school doesn't hace XC and I'm going to do track next year even though our school's team sucks and we don't even have a track to train on.

Not really. The regular prices are really expensive and I get 60-70% off most of their products.
