Wearing opposite gender trainers
So I went out to a running store nearby, tried on different shoes and bought the Mizuno Wave Precision 8. anyways i was looking at the receipt just now and I noticed that on it, it says Wave Precision womens 8 *note the part where it says womens*. so i take a look at the box and the box says Mens on it. So what im asking is in the case that they are womens shoes, will it affect me any differently if they were mens shoes? they fit like a glove and are really snug and felt really good when i tried them on.

Definetly women's shoes. But if they are good for you, keep 'em.

Re: Wearing opposite gender trainers
yeah i bought a pair of nike sparq spikes in the mens section, but online they said they were womens but they look like mens. i loved them though. awesome grip, i had never used distance spikes before. regular shoes feel like you are running on the track, spikes make u a part of it. u work w/ the track.

Re: Wearing opposite gender trainers
I've heard (don't know if it's true) that men's and women's shoes are sometimes shaped slightly differently... but if your shoes feel good, then they're probably fine.

Re: Wearing opposite gender trainers
maybe you have feminine feet lol
but if you found the perfect shoe it doesnt matter, keep em'
But like ^ he said, usually you can return them even after like a couple runs if they're not too dirty.

i ran in them today, and they felt really snug, so i think i'll be keeping them. my team pokes fun at me for wearing funny shoes anyways (since i always wear colorful shoes, and everyone else just wears normal white looking ones). I've had red, orange and yellow shoes. now i have girl shoes haha

Alex, just get the men's equivalent to those shoes (I'm almost positive those are women's ones). They should feel the same (and therefore fit great).

I remeber a womens shoe add when this lady was like : "I hate it when they make womens shoes small pink versions of mens, I am not a small pink version of a man, so why should I wear a shoe like that?"
something like that, it was funny.

i wouldnt worry about it. the fastest kid on our team wears women trainers cause his feet are so small.
