These are Gregs storys but, i'm posting them for him.

I was staring at the clock and finally it was 2:15. The bell rang and I scurried to my locker to grab my things. It was Friday and my mind was on a nice easy run to kick off the weekend. I was excited because my best friend was coming along and it is always nice when it is just the two of us because we get to talk about personal stuff. I find myself always hopelessly looking for any indication of interest on her part.

I stepped out of the locker room carrying my school clothes and she walked out of the girls' locker room changed as well. We put our stuff in my car and were off. We only planned to do about 2.5 miles easy.

About a mile into our run, I felt a sharp pain in the joint of my knee. I took a few more strides and the pain would not go away, so I started to walk. Immediately, best friend looked over and started walking alongside of me.

"Are you ok?" she asked with a great deal of concern in her voice.

"It's my knee, it feels really weird," I frowned.

"It's ok, let's just walk back," she suggested.

We turned and began walking down the sidewalk back to our cars. After a few minutes, she looked over at me.

"So Greg, are you really talking with any girls right now?"

I couldn't believe it. She was seeing if I was interested in anyone. Maybe this was her way of hinting that she wanted something with me! My heart skipped a beat as I frantically tried for the perfect reply.

"Uh, no. Not really," I answered.

"Oh! That's perfect!" she smiled. I started smiling too, but I soon came to realize it was for different reasons.

"My cousin is coming into town from New York in a few hours and I totally want you to meet her. She's really nice," she said.

I started to frown again. I guess I will never be that lucky.

"So what exactly did you have in mind?" I asked.

"Well," she paused. "I was thinking maybe you could take her out to the movies or something like that. She kind of has a hard time dating because she kind of has a reputation back home."

Before I got a chance to open my mouth, she then chimed in,"But you know how that kind of stuff can get out of hand. She really is a great girl."

"Ok, I'll stop by your house around nine to pick her up."

"Oh my god, thank you so much!" she screamed. She turned and gave me a hug and I was in cloud nine.

"You owe me one," I said. Soon we were at our cars and I left to shower and get ready for the date.

After I made myself fresh I rolled up to best friend's house at about 9:05. I was wearing my favorite pair of jeans and this fresh light purple B. Unique shirt. The first time I wore it I was told by several people that that was MY color. I knew I was looking my best.

I knocked on the door and best friend answered.

"She'll be down in a second. Have fun!" she said.

About a minute later, a girl started walking down the stairs. She had light brown hair and had greenish blue eyes. Maybe they were blueish green. She was wearing a white mini skirt, one of those fluttery ones. She was wearing a kelly green top which really brought out the color in her eyes. I could definitely see the family resemblence.

    "Hi, I'm Jenna," she said.

"Hey, I'm Greg. Are you ready to go?"

    "Sure, let's go."

We got in my car and I put on some A Tribe Called Quest to set a relaxing vibe. Her eyes got big and she glared at me.

"You listen to A Tribe Called Quest! Oh my God!"

"Wow, I never met a girl who listened to this stuff."

"I have a feeling this will be an interesting night," she said. Talk about foreshadowing.

We got to the movies. I bought two tickets to some crappy movie. Honestly, we talked during the entire movie. We had so much in common and I had her laughing constantly. The only time we were really silent was towards the end of the movie when I finally got the nerve to put my arm around her. She leaned her head on my chest and I took her chin and lifted her face to mine and kissed her. The fireworks were going off. This was such a great night.

We started driving back and she turned towards me.

"You sure you want the night to end already?" she asked. She didn't have to ask twice.

"Well, actually, my parent are out of town, so do you think you'd want to come back to my place?"

"I'd love to," she said without hesitation.

I'll spare the details, but we got back to my house and I started freaking out because I had no protection. She assured me she was on the pill and from there it was on. We yada yada yada-ed and I was pretty tired the next day.

The next week I was bummed when she left. I felt like I had found the love of my life and now she was heading back to New York. How on earth was she single?

That's when it hit me like fastball into a catchers mit. My.... private area started feeling weird. I took a wizz and it felt like I was letting go of sulfuric acid. It burned like a volcanoe. I started to really freak out. That girl had to have given me an STD (or do they call it STIs now. This girl really likes the cars STIs and I always laugh when she says she wants and STI). What could it be? Words I could barely say much less spell began to flutter though my mind. I went to a local medical clinic right after school.

My explanation was very shady so they ran tons and tons and TONs of tests. I was there for hours and thought it would never end. Finally, the doctor came in.

"Greg, I have some bad news for you," he said.

"Just tell me please. What is it? Is it cureable?"

"We did several tests, and judging by your knee x-rays, you have osteoarthritis."

    "Lovely."
