Tyson Gay

At the OT tonight, Tyson Gay got a cramp during one of the 200m (semis??). He fell to the ground, didn't advance (and he would have been a favorite in the Olympics), and *may* not be able to run the 100m in Beijing because of the injuries he may have gotten from falling! It was all very dramatic and sad because he's such a great runner and a great guy and basically the only chance we have of beating the Jamacians.
Just wanted to share that.

He had a serious hamstring cramp.

yeah, he will, he has too. hes worked to hard, just to quit now before the olympics are even here.

So now they're saying there's no lasting damage to his hamstring... yay!!!

The stands didn't know what was wrong. Everyone thought he had pulled a groin or hamstring and would be out for beijing. It certainly is a bummer he couldn't finish, but at least he isn't as badly injured as people thought.
