I survived.....

the Wild Thing, a rollercoaster at the ValleyFair, and I'm home from my trip. We left Sunday night and I got very little sleep on the bus but I did get some. The next day included shopping and a Minnesota Twins game (they lost). On our way from the game back to the hotel our bus driver got us lost in downtown St. Paul. So we drove around till they found the intersate. We then had to get up early the next day to march at the ValleyFair(an amusment park) and then go on the rides. I went on a lot of rides I'm usually too chicken to on like the corkscrew and the wild thing which we went on twice. We got back to our hotel to find out our pool was closed so we found the courtyard and played with a beach ball. Our last day there was spent at the Mall of America. Me and a friend went on some of the rides in there at the amusment park and of course some shopping. We came back home the next day and the bus was dead silent for at least half of the way home since everyone was sleeping.
Then yesterday I got up early to run in a walk/run 5k and i won but they didn't give away prizes. They were just promoting good health. We went home, I took a nap, got up for lunch, and took another nap. Later yesterday night we went to the dam and watched the fireworks display. I wasn't able to come on here yestday because I was sleeping and we lost electricity.
Now I just got done watching a parade and later tonight is the street dance. And I think we are going to light off fireworks.

And that is where I have been and what I have been doing for the last week.

oh and I slept till 12:30 today. I was definetly lacking some sleep on my trip

saw that first one when i went there. i wouldnt ride that except for a lot of money

gross i hate roller coasters lol. amherst is right though the only real roller coasters are in ohio. cedar point babyyyyyy.

I have been wishing to go to cedar point forever, but its so far out of the way...i love roller coasters with a passion

ugh heights lol. i hate heights so much...im scared of everything though.

you win but we don't really have a ton of amusment parks around here the nearest one is in Minnesota (the one we went to) and that's at least 12 hours away.

we have a six flags, its not too scary though

that sounds like you've been busy.
the amusment parks in hk suck, so i rarely go to them.
i've been to six flags a couple times, and disneyland when i was little but thats about it.

i went to walhalla for fourth of july after i did my 10k which was a pr. walhalla is so fun because we get to light off fireworks in town and there was a street dance and stuff. i went on the wild thing 17 times last year.

you've stated you ran a PR like 20 bazillion times...just saying

what's your favorite ride at the valleyfair? mine was the corkscrew and then riptide

wild thing is probably first cause cork screw is way to short. rampage might be my favorite too. whats the riptide again?

rampage was the wooden rollercoaster that was really fast and its 1 year old. riptide looked freaky last year so i skipped it. its my goal this year to go on steel venom and riptide

i think you're thinking of renegade. we never got to that one we were kind of busy. but go on riptide it was tons of fun and i skipped steel venom.
