Jordan wasn't going to be able to because of a scheduling conflict with her world jr. meet in Poland but, they are letting her have an extension to travel there after the meets over. I'm so excited to see how they do...i really hope one of them makes it to the finals but i dunno...

Hasay made it to the finals, running 4:14. Babcock ran 4:20.
And about German, he would've needed to have a 1500m time around the sub 4 equivalent of a mile. Since he didn't run a 5k or steeplechase this season he couldn't run that either. He could only have run if they had a 2 mile and they did not.

If you noticed, maybe no one else did, but it seemed funny to me. When everyone was chanting to Hasay "come to oregon, clap, clap, clap clap clap"
every time they did the claps part she waved. She would smile for the chant and wave for the claps. I thought it was funny, doesn't take much for me to laugh though.

Hasay did awesome. I'm proud of Babcock for her performance. Isn't this the first time she has done post-season racing? I remember reading an interview and she seemed tired.

he could have had the 1500m time but never ran it. quite obvious because his 1500m enroute is equivalent to a 4 flat

Re: chrstine babcock and jordan hasay
Hasay ran 4:19 at World Juniors and came in 4th. The winner had a 4:15 so maybe if she had rested she would've won, but the Trials were still a worthwhile experience.

I SUGGEST YOU ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE MAKING STUPID STATEMENTS LIKE THAT
YES, THE UW COACH SUCKS, TOO BAD THERE WERE 3 PEOPLE FROM UW WHO MADE IT TO THE TRIALS IN THE 1500 (NOT COUNTING BABCOCK). OH YEA, AND THAT TOP 10 FINISH AT NCAA XC. THEY REALLY SUCK.
AND NO, I HIGHLY DOUBT HASAY WILL COME THERE. SHE HAS BETTER SCHOOLS TO GO TO, OR SO I HEAR FROM SOME RELIABLE SOURCES
BUT THEN AGAIN, I WOULD EXPECT NO LESS FROM SOMEONE WHO DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE GREATEST DISTANCE RUNNER (FEMALE OBVIOUSLY) TO COME OUT OF THEIR STATE
