But, Wal-Mart gives better prices to people so Walm-Mart owns the farms. "Oh wow Wal-Marts foods two days old and it's $1.00 cheaper I don't want to shop there it's for hicks. I want to go shop at Whole Foods for organic food and then go to Abercrombie and buy millions of clothes". Thats what you guys sound like. I don't even go to Wal-Mart but, i'm defending them.

i don't care about wal-mart because i know lots of people can't afford to go to buy organic food and such im just saying im lucky that i can do that so im going to...why go to wal-mart if you can afford to go to a place better? and i don't really buy abercrombie or hollister clothes i have like a couple from there but not a lot because, thats what every person in the world wears i don't feel like looking like every person in the world lol.

Really people what's the difference between the Wal and Target. Target is a little more attraction but, Wal-Mart has food,They have more employees to help, they have more around you so you can get to them faster. Wal-Mart has way better prices and better garden centers. Wal-Mart owns in electronics while Target stinks it up. Wal-Mart has better Food in it (like Sonic are in alot) and they have better household product. Target has cleaner store and thats about it.

Guys, just because you shop at wal mart doesn't mean you're poor! I shop at Wal Mart and more expensive stores. I go to wal mart for sunscreen, produce store for fruit, billions of stores for clothes, target for wii games. And, my friends who are millionares go there too. Just because a store has certain prices doesn't mean you can't generalize the people going there. I think it's smart to go there. You save money.

You pretty much have to speak Spanish if you want to go to Wal-Mart.

My family gets groceries from regular grocery stores (Schnucks), Produce from a farm (CSA, pretty cool), and clothes from just about anywhere that sells them. We get toiletries, greeting cards, some cereal, socks, and other misc. items from Target because it is the shit. Wal-Mart is also the shit, but Target is the closer shit, so we buy our shit there. Also, I had to do a job shadow thing at Wal-Mart in 8th grade, and that experience was not the shit, but it was, in fact, shitty. I'm not the biggest fan of Wal-Mart, but its not for any real reason. I just don't like the place...or its shit.

I wouldn't buy food, especially fruit, at walmart. If i need some small thing that day (like a baseball or a pack of cards) then i'll go but other then that, i try to support local businesses and farmers.

I get all my fruit from farmers markets (during the summer). It tastes a lot better, isn't all that expensive, supports the local economy etc. Its just better.

haha, I watched that penn & teller episode about wal-mart.
but personally I think wal-mart is fine. I don't shop there for clothes or shoes, but I think it's good for groceries & beauty care products. it's a lot better than meijer.
