16. I'm also getting my license in at most 4 days... hopefully sooner. I already took the written test, but when I went to the DMV they were all booked for the road test, so I scheduled for Thursday. But this Monday I'm going to a different DMV to see if I can book a slot for Tuesday. idk about the DMV in other states but in NH, it sucks. I had to wait in line for 2 HOURS just to get the written test. and I know people who waited for a lot longer than that.

Mm. Yeah. Mostly it just sucks.
Lucky for me, the car still runs after a little work, so I didn't have to pay for too much in the way of repairs. The front end is still smashed though, and if someone rear-ends me, they'll discover that my back bumper is taped on.
