Fireworks are illegal. My town is 65,000 people so we just drive out a bit and Im running my first 10K that day. Im a little nervous because Im normally top 3 overall in all my road races but the 10K is new to me. I then go to the party at our town square.

Lol who do I sound like? I come on here and get accused of all this crap. I'm pretty calm hahaha not like when I read this start screaming. It's a forum not my life. It's not like if I get banned I will cut myself and then hang myself and while i'm hanging shoot myself. So I am calm =]

anyways.. My friend has a huuge annual party thingy. Some firworks are illegal but we live in the "country" so there isnt really anyone around. and for the grand finale its usually homemade...haha

Do you guys have indian reservations that sell fireworks?? Thats usually where we get our fireworks for Reallly really cheap.

yea i think i live somewhat close to the sioux reservation on the south part. lol our universities mascot in my city is the Sioux anyway..not for long though damn NCAA. we even frickin sued them to try and defend it. pretty pathetic.

We used to set off fireworks every July 4th when we lived in Boston, but I think they're illegal down here (people in the neighborhood still set them off). My sister brought some home once and nearly killed the dog when he ran away with a lit one (he's not particularly bright).

fireworks aren't illegal per say, but the big ones are.

but who cares???? that's why we take a trip to wyoming! bout the only useful thing from there lol

i think what the NCAA wants to change in the name Fighting Sioux is the Fighting part. i think they will let them keep the Sioux, but the whole thing is really stupid they should let them keep it the Fighting Sioux.

nope..trust me they still think sioux would be offensive..even the logo which was drawn by a Sioux tribe member anyway! However, fighting is the reason it drew attention.

My city puts on a really good fireworks show.
You can see them from my house.
There are 3 nights of fireworks, like 10 minutes for the first 2 nights and an hour the 3rd night. My dad usually sets off some too, but were not supposed too.

I'll probably be working this year though because my work is right by where the fireworks are and it will be soooo busy. If not working one of the nights though, I'm having a party. :pinkdance:
