Homethe only track race ive ever run is the 800 and if 1st place is 10 points than 10 points in track, and i havent run cross country yet but ive won my age group in roadraces b4. so 20 in xc (road races)

yea i read something that on the first mile of a race you should only go 10 seconds faster than your goal pace

i have another one this weekend, and i am going to start out a lot slower. like around a 5:50, then drop it.

It wasn't even a dual meet . . . There was my school, Sacred Heart, Grammer, Shambala, Halifax Independant School, Kings Edgehill and Landmark East. . .
I won the 1500 and 800, and did fairly well in the 400, and scored a few points in the long jump, 200 and I got like 1 point in the 100. There wasn't even a 3000, although I would have won that too.
