Ok, here in my area we have an old railroad track that went along the edge of a mountain at like a 60% grade for 0.9 miles. I know a lot of people either run or walk up this as training, theres a trail to jog around (3 miles down to bottom) on the backside. Before XC season some of my teammates used to train on it regularly and they want me to do it today. Will it just be like a hill workout or like a stairstepper or what?
Also, my coach has 40-50 minutes run planned for us today and i would be doing it on my own. So shoud I just run the 40-50, do both, do just incline, or some other variation?
