    is an Olympian! I knew Adrienne Power used to run for Dalhousie, but I didn't realize she still trained under the same head coach. She's at practice just about every day, and I almost got ran over by her in the first practice before I really new not to stand in the middle of the track. oops

    She ran the 200m in Bejing, and her PR is 22.86

    I bet she could run faster but that race was all uphill and she just ate 2 bigmacs and the wind was in her face and she just wasn't trying. Rolling Eyes

    My teammate came in like 6th at the Olympic trials for the triple jump. Granted it was Canada, but she is a beast.

    im friends with a 2008 US olympian...well not really, but i've talked to him and he's my friend on fb lol. i met him at xc camp, (josh mcadams, steeplechaser) Very Happy

    Really?? She was the answer to a trivial pursuit question the other day. haha and I didn't know it, but I know her. Anyways thats cool.

    I know someone who's now in her first year of college who went to the Trials for the 800m...sadly she got tripped up and was unable to qualify for the next round.

    Yep that's her. It was a little disappointing to hear what happened but at least she has a lot of years ahead of her.
