so like, nobody ever posts on the "rate the above NP" thing , and that actually introduced me to a couple of cool bands.
so like, just this thread's just for posting bands/songs that you like, and when you get introduced to new stuff, share it with everyone. its kind of like the movie thread , but musicified Very Happy

my favorite bands are, Rise Against, Disturbed, My Chemical Romance, Yellowcard, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Dragonforce, and Bullet For My Valentine.

recently, i've been really into acoustic cover's just by random ppl on youtube. right now, this is my favorite (its an acoustic cover of Disturbed's, Ten Thousand Fists. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhksNxMFjes )
he looks like nicholas cage lololol
oh and i've been listening to Serj Tankian recently (vocalist for SOAD)

    Mostly indie bands or folk/alternative.

The shins is probably my all-time favorite, modest mouse is really good too.
Washington has a lot of cool local bands I know nobody would know so I wont bother.

Beirut and neutral milk hotel are ones i'm currently listening too.

Pasted from my lengthy confessions post in victory lap:

    5) While I'm still totally into metal music, I actually (secretly)
listen to tons of music. I love so much weird stuff, from MCR (would
get big beatings if I admitted that to people..), through to old 70s
bands (ABBA, Fleetwood Mac), to classical guitar music, which is why
I've started learning classical guitar lol. Although nothing can beat
the energy of a metal band in concert.

One of my goals before I'm 18 is to go see a show and experience the whole thing. Wooo!!

I like listening to any rock really, usually classic rock, punk rock, alternative. I also like some industrial and electronica, and then techno is amazing. Another goal before I'm 18 is to go to a rave. Then again, I wouldn't be taking any drugs so it kinda ruins the whole point of going, but I would still want to see what it's like.
