Do you guys have any cool or motivational wallpapers/posters/desktops? It doesn't have to be running.

Re: Running Wallpapers
am i supposed to let this thread die?
in my room i have a running altar. it's basically just a race calendar, psych notes, my old running numbers, all of my safety pins from meets, and my varisty letter/pins. it's motivational, but also slightly embarassing when other people see it.
i also have a "toughness is talent" xc poster.
all of this has made me realize that i am an uber running geek.

Re: Running Wallpapers
I keep everything in my head, except for the pile of old bib numbers in my closet and my 4 lucky safety pins I use every invitational. Yesterday our best runner said I would be good someday, that is motivation enough for me.

Re: Running Wallpapers
I have an xc bulletin board. It has a few race numbers from important meets, a ribbon from an invite, some pictures, a little plastic baggie with the pins I used during my first ever xc race, my varsity letter, and these little clippings from the xc newsletter that my coach does. I put my two favorite ones on it, one describing how I won a tie-breaker for our team and the other from my PR race.
I also have one bulletin board that's not totally devoted to running, but the background is just a wall of race numbers with some pictures on top of them. There are a few running ones in there.
The one most motivating thing I have though is a training notebook for next year's xc season. I haven't written in it yet obviously, but my friend/teammate/running idol/inspiration gave it to me and she wrote a five page note to me talking about how she wants me to do well and she thinks I really can be a good competitive runner and stuff, and yeah
It's really sweet. I cried when I first read it, not gonna lie.

Re: Running Wallpapers
We have these meets called League Meets that varsity people don't run very often. In order to get a varsity letter you need 10 points, which I would think comes from those meets as invites don't have scoring. However, one kid won the mile at the first meet last year (10 points) but didn't letter. I won a race this year so I think the same thing will happen to me.XC_crazy wrote:FinishingKick wrote:I'm supposed to get my first varsity letter this season but I don't think they're going to give it to me.baby got track wrote:...my varsity letter...
