    Yak Trax

For those who live in a wintery area...have you got these?
    Do they work?
Is it worth the money? confused

I was at a race this morning and saw at least 10 people wearing them. I also saw somebody talking about them on RW.
My social studies teacher, who runs was there and her and her friend are two that have them. Her friend let me try hers on and walk around with them after the race. They look kinda cool though...

They work well on packed snow and ice. Loose snow, not so much. I love mine though, and they're worth the money. Do take them off for any length of running on dry pavement though, because that will wear them out quickly.
