is beastly. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me do it instead of XC next year, because I don't think I can handle the bullshit of my team for another year. Cyclocross is where you ride you bike through trails, hills, muddy ditches, roads, etc. and when it becomes to steep or you encounter a barrier, you pick up your bike and run with it. After 45 minutes of doing this every 5 minutes, you get really worn out.
It looks so awesome and I really wanna do it, but I can't really decide between it and XC.
