    is beastly. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me do it instead of XC next year, because I don't think I can handle the bullshit of my team for another year. Cyclocross is where you ride you bike through trails, hills, muddy ditches, roads, etc. and when it becomes to steep or you encounter a barrier, you pick up your bike and run with it. After 45 minutes of doing this every 5 minutes, you get really worn out.

    It looks so awesome and I really wanna do it, but I can't really decide between it and XC.

    Advice?

    you obviously like doing triathlon stuff and other extreme sports better than running, so do it

    is this just like a random sport you wanna do, like you can actually do this a lot etc. or is there only like one race near you, i say do cross. do that cyclo stuff next year.

    If you are still doing tris you need to run so you don't die in that part of the race. Also if you need to run the bike up steep hills you need the running.
