10 miles, I left from the school right after PSATs this morning
And my Homecoming's today too. I missed the game because of running and I will miss the dance because I am the world's coolest person and I am working on a science project with some friends

Re: STFU saturdalies
Meet. I've been sick this week. I almost stopped and threw up. Ran my second slowest time of the season.
On a good note, we had our whole team there for the first time all season and it was really fun. We did a bunch of cheers and all ran together (well, the people who run similar times)
Maybe a bike workout later

Re: STFU saturdalies
So when the coach told us the workout, we had to ask her what the catch was, it was just too easy. . .
warm up
1x16mins @ faster than race pace
8x100m hill sprints
cool down
I covered 2.75 miles in the 16 minutes, averaged 5:53 pace even though my legs were/are still dead. Funny thing though, the coaches really wanted a race intensity and atmosphere, so they had us all get up on the line, and about 15 of us ended up false starting on the repeat
8.5 miles total.

We did a course run at semi-race pace (not quite race pace but close) to prepare for counties next weekend.

Re: STFU saturdalies
Race Day!
Totally felt like having a fun run on a SUPER hilly course...so we did. 3 teammates & I pack ran today & had a blast doing it.
We didn't worry about times or placemetns all that much because everyone was getting a medal (small race) and there were some big hills.
I took 9th with a...23:52. Worst time of the season.
Our ENTIRE guys Varsity pack ran and they ran 21s...they usually run 17s-19s.
We were worried that our coach was going to be mad because we had taken 2nd...but surprisingly, he didn't care too much. We told him that the stress from always having to be top notch was getting too much and we needed to have some fun before Regionals. He completely understood and thought we still had good runs.
Here's some pictures of the big dirt hill.
The 1st one is my teammate & I...the 2nd one was from the guy's race & one our guy's thought it would be funny to bearcrawl up the hill...so he did! It was HILARIOUS! & the last picture is me making my way up the hill.

those are cool pictures.
I wish I could get some pictures of our big hill, next time we go there I think I'll do that.

Hurdle-Gurl that hill reminds me of Altoona. Hurts to run up but really fun to run down.

SO many people were going to the hill just to watch all the runners try and make it up! It was HARD, but CrAzY fun.

You should have to explain your titles from now on. You can't just write STFU for no reason.

It was the first thing that popped into my brain when I woke up early on a Saturday, give me a break.
