So for the past several (2?) years coach has had us drink a Gatorade/water mixture with salt (so, 1/2 and 1/2) during practice, with 8-20 oz of straight Gatorade after practice.
I was marginally okay with this, except that yesterday, when I went to the dentist to get my wisdom teeth taken care of and a couple of cavities filled, my dentist let me know that I need a root canal
She said that this is probably because of the Gatorade (though Powerade works the same way, because of the citric acid).
Is there something I can drink that's hydrating that won't rot my teeth? Or am I just going to have to suck it up?
