I use a pace calulator and thats 5:50 miles on a hilly ass course.

You needed a pace calculator for that? lol. Nuff said.

u run hurdles? lol. Nuff said.

    only on long easy runs.

Most of the time my running buddy and I are plugged into our ipods. Its weird though if she has hers and I dont have mine..because I want to talk but she doesn't.

yeahh but I usually like to conserve my oxygen.

We used to wear iPods too, but then one day my friend got hit on our run and we decided to pay better attention Wink Maybe there will be fewer blind corners on our new campus this year.

My running buddies are usually listening to my speaker mp3 player. You guys are lucky you're allowed to wear earbuds on your run.

That's to be determined after my second season of cross country. How many years have you been training again?

I love talking while I run. It helps me not go out to fast and to get into a good pace pretty quick. Some of my teammates don't like talking but I really could care less because if I'm feeling crappy on a rn I'm going to talk to them because it changes my focus off of the pain and onto just the conversation.

I ran with my bff yesterday, and she hasn't really been running this summer so she was sooo slow and she had to walk a few times =/ but we talked the whole time and its good catching up time =] haha

guh it was kinda a waste of a workout though.

I know me too. My middle school didn't have track or xc when I was there. They do have xc now but lot of good that does me. But I did tennis my first year instead of track which was the dumbest mistake of my life.

I signed up for my 9th grade year..but the coach called and said "practice is blah blah and we'll probably run about 3 miles.." that pretty much scared me off. haha I feel so lame now. But I sucked it up and went the next year and realized its not nearly as hard as it sounds.
