Re: Gymnastics
We had a shot to win when the one China girl fell but we just didn't have what it took to finish it. I didn't plan on watching it I was just waiting for swimming but I kept watching even after swimming was over.

Re: Gymnastics
hopefully the individual girls will do good. i was getting so mad. after the beam exercise with their scores not being that great it got to them mentally. all 3 went out of bounds atleast 1 time. it was aggravating to watch. anyone know what the 3 chinese girls got on the beam??? cuz it wasnt that far away from what the us got but the one that fell got a 15.9 and the girl who did really good got a 16.1 such crappy judges. the 16.1 should have been higher.

Re: Gymnastics
I guess alot of countries are accusing (sp?) china of using underage girls. Saying that they were only 12 under or something , but the olympic people are just going to ignore that.
ehhh not sure about that though.

Re: Gymnastics
That's sad that the americans and other countries are using underage girls as an excuse. Like come on, some "supposedly" aren't even teenagers while the other countries competitors have like 5 years on them. They should be stronger, fitter and more experienced but they are still getting beat by little girls, literally.

Re: Gymnastics
and its easier to do flips and such when your younger your lighter and not as scared of things..there was some doctor explaining this on tv the other day.
the chinease also start training girls when their around three and then by the time they are sixteen their burned out and can't train like our girls can when their sixteen. their at their peak when there around 12-14.
this is what i heard on tv i don't necessarily agree because im not going to say they cheated for sure (although it does annoy me) when i don't know for sure.

I thought they looked so little and cute! lol then my mom told me they were like my age and I was thinking noo way. But they naturally look younger anyways. My friend from korea is 18 but I thought she was 15 when we first met.
I want to adopt a baby chinese girl when I'm older.

Re: Gymnastics
It was well documented before the games that they weren't 16 then. Personally I find it appalling that the IOC hasn't looked more into it and see it as evidence of their corruption.
It's really too bad that the Chinese burn out easily because I would really be interested in seeing is their passports said they were 20 at the next games.
