Intelligent life outside of earth

I am going to say yes because if it happened on Earth why can't it happen else were in this vast universe.

And if you say yes do you think they have already visted Earth?

yes, a Christian NDE said that she saw GOD talking about that. Second one, no. But I think we weren't meant to personally see them til Heaven.

ugh i guess i believe so. i just hope when we see them it isnt like war of the worlds. just watched that and i was scared.

My old 7th grade science teacher always said, the idea of us being the only intelligent life out of billions of planets etc... is just stupid.

I think it says somewhere in the bible that there will be unidentified things in the skies. What that means I dont know.

We can only see I think 5% of our universe. The rest is dark matter. Maybe not life like us but something else besides planets and rocks has gotta be out there.

I think it's very likely that there is life for the reasons everyone else just said... BUT, unlike any of those aliens you see in movies or TV, no matter how alien-like they look, they still have some human characteristics. If there is other life out there, I seriously doubt it is similar in any way to us... the likelihood of another planet developing life in the same way as ours is so unlikely.

+1. Any "life" we find probably won't even fit our definitions of "life"

I'm sure there are self replicating clay crystals somewhere, or life forms smaller than one cell.

Going by our technical definition, neither of those things would be alive though.

I believe that there is life but it is probably small organisms, otherwise we would have had some indication/evidence that they were out there.

ok from age 8 to age 12 i was COMPLETELY obsessed with astronomy. ggrrrrr too bad i forgot most of what i knew.

but anyway, i read this one book and it showed how aliens might look on other planets in order to adapt to the climate. they didn't look anything like you think they would. another thing i do know is that there is no real proof they exist. i do believe that there are planets out there that SUPPORT life, but no planets that have life.
so the answer to the second question is no too.

story time:
my teacher (back in 7th grade but is now in the highschool)always said how she was an alien whos spaceship was parked outside in the playground and how it was invisible. then we asked why people didnt run into it and she said idk and then walked out of the room...
she was a freak.

we had a substitue teacher like that, she thought her cat was abducted by aliens (she was dead serious about it too) and someone started laughing and she started crying and yelling...it was weird

yes i believe there are forms of life outside of earth, but i do not think that such life has made contact with earth.

i've always wanted there to be aliens like in the Animorph books. i loved reading animorphs when i was little.
